Louisa Hooten is from Waco, Texas, where she began her dance training locally at the age of four. She trained in various styles of dance, such as ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz and tap at Joy's School of Dance for fourteen years, including many performances as a JSOD Company member. Here she enjoyed gaining teaching experience with six years as a student assistant, working with various dance styles and ages of students. During her senior year of high school, she also attended the Ballet Center of Fort Worth under the direction of Enrica Tseng and Chung Lin Tseng. She received additional training from summer intensives at Ballet Frontier, Ballet Center of Fort Worth and Ballet Magnificat, and attended the Texas Association Teachers of Dancing convention for three years, receiving the Senior Ballet Convention scholarship in 2022. This is Louisa's second season with Ballet Frontier.
