Henry Woods is originally from Essex, England, and undertook formal training at Ballet West Scotland, graduating with a BA(Hons) Ballet and Fdn Dance. Here he received tutelage under Daniel Job (Deutsche Oper Berlin, Cleveland Ballet), and Sonia Fajardo.

 

Mr. Wood's professional experience began touring with Ballet West Scotland’s touring company, performing across Scotland in Giselle, The Nutcracker, and Swan Lake. He then joined Canyon Concert Ballet in 2022, dancing as a soloist for the company for four seasons, performing in their productions such as Dracula, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, and Giselle. Mr. Woods is a guest artist for several companies across the USA, including Cleveland Ballet and Ozark Ballet Theater.

 

Credit highlights include Hilarion and Peasant Pas in Giselle, Pas de trois, Spanish, and Czardas in Swan Lake, Cavalier Prince, Snow King, Spanish in The Nutcracker, Paris in Romeo and Juliet, and roles in Handel’s Messiah, Rite of Spring, Sleeping Beauty, and The Crucible, amongst others, with companies across the globe.
