Christian English was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. Mr. English began his formal ballet training at age thirteen under the direction of Mark Leber at Doxa Dance Ministry.

 

Upon graduating in 2022, Mr. English relocated to Chicago, Illinois, to join Ballet 5:8, where he progressed from Trainee to Company Apprentice and Company Artist. During his tenure with Ballet 5:8, Mr. English performed as a featured soloist in Steve Rooks’ Wind, originated a role in Kevin Jenkins’ These Quiet Moments, and performed soloist, principal, and pas de deux roles across the company’s original repertoire.

 

In 2026, Mr. English performed with Ballet Chicago Studio Company in George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante and Who Cares?

 

Mr. English is thrilled to join Ballet Frontier of Texas.
