Cecilia Breeland is originally from Myrtle Beach South Carolina where she grew up training and performing in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical at her local studio. To further her training in ballet and modern she attended Belhaven University for two years working towards a BFA in dance. During her time at Belhaven she trained under Ravenna Tucker Wagnon, Elizabeth Sweatt, Krista Bower, Erin Rockwell and Elle Ciccarone. Alongside year round training, she has had the opportunity to work with multiple guest artists both in modern and ballet, including Micheal Fothergill, Amanda Browning, and Rachel Bitgood. Most recently she has completed a performance internship with the Deos Contemporary Ballet summer company training under and performing works by Christine Settembrino and Grace Sinke. This is Cecilia first season with Ballet Frontier.
