Carlin Dixon

Carlin Dixon began her early dance training with Orlando Ballet School and Patel Conservatory Youth Ballet before becoming a trainee with Next Generation Ballet in Tampa, Florida. There she trained under the direction of Peter Stark, Ivonne Lemus, and Philip Neal for four years. During her time at Next Generation Ballet, Ms. Dixon had the opportunity to perform soloist roles in many full-length ballets, including The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, and Cinderella. Ms. Dixon received additional training through summer intensives at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Carolina Ballet, and The Washington Ballet. Continuing her academic and artistic pursuits, Ms. Dixon graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida, where she studied dietetics and dance.


In 2021, Ms. Dixon joined Ballet Frontier. She has performed various lead roles, including the Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, and Dewdrop in The Nutcracker, Kitri in Don Quixote, the Firebird in Chung Lin Tseng’s Firebird, Raymonda in Raymonda’s Wedding, Princess Florine and Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty, and Hippoloyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Other notable performances
with Ballet Frontier include Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Coppélia, and String Quartet Pas De Deux by Chung Lin Tseng.

 

This is Ms. Dixon's sixth season with Ballet Frontier.
