Augusta Vining was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She fell in love with dance at the age of three and began training seriously at New Ballet Ensemble & School (or NBE) under the direction of Katie Smythe. 

Outside of her time at NBE, Augusta trained at A&A Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, American Ballet Theater, Orsolina 28 in Moncalvo, Italy, Sarasota Ballet, and the Oklahoma City Ballet.

Augusta was awarded scholarships and attended Texas Christian University’s classical ballet program under the direction of Elizabeth Gillaspy. 

Most recently, Augusta graduated from the English National Ballet School’s Young Artist Development Programme,  in London under the direction of Viviana Durante and Ibrahim Onal. 

Alongside dancing at Ballet Frontier, Augusta is also training to be a classical Pilates instructor and loves the city of Fort Worth. She is absolutely delighted to be dancing with Ballet Frontier for a second season!
