Andrew Coffey
Ballet Instructor

Andrew Coffey joined the Norwegian National Ballet in 2022, after two years with Norwegian National Ballet 2. Within the main company, Coffey has performed as the Golden Fairy in Spuck’s Sleeping Beauty and many other roles. During his time with the NNB2, Coffey danced roles including James in an excerpt from La Sylphide, Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake pas de deux, and the leading male role in an excerpt from Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante. He has also performed in Boyadjiev’s The Nutcracker and Lima’s Suite for Ten in Six.
Mr. Coffey began dancing at Ballet Center of Fort Worth in Texas at the age of ten. He participated in the Youth American Grand Prix, qualifying for the finals in New York in 2016, which earned him a scholarship to Houston Ballet Academy. In 2018, Mr. Coffey was admitted to the Royal Ballet School in London, where he danced with both the Royal Ballet and the Birmingham Ballet during his studies. Since the summer of 2021, he has taught ballet classes during the summer at the Ballet Center of Fort Worth.
