Alyssa Altadonna was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but moved to Germany at a young age, where she was raised. There, Ms.Altadonna studied the Vaganova technique.

 

Ms. Altadonna later moved to England, where she tested in Vaganova and R.A.D. She then attended college at Northern Illinois University in Chicago, Illinois, where she studied the Cecchetti technique. There she had the opportunity to perform and work with many different companies.

 

Ms. Altadon performed many roles, including Paquita in Paquita, Jeanna from Flames of Paris, Arabian pas de deux, Fall Fairy Queen from Cinderella, and many more.

 

After graduating from college Ms.Altadonna moved to Texas to work with Avant Chamber Ballet, where she performed roles such as Russian Doll, Russian Jumping Girl/ CandyCane, Waltz of the Flowers, Carnival of the Animals, Pulcinella, El Amor Brujo, The Seasons, and Excerpts from Sisterhood.
