Michela Chiroli

Michela Chiroli was born in Italy and began studying ballet when she was 5 years old. Ms. Chiroli's professional training started at La Scala Ballet School of Milan at the age of 11. Ms. Chiroli performed in some of the productions of Teatro alla Scala of Milan, such as Raymonda and Excelsior, working with Choreographers like Sergej Vikarev and dancers like Olesia Novikova, Alina Somova and Roberto Bolle. In 2015 Ms. Chiroli received a scholarship for a summer intensive at Joffrey Ballet School in New York and had the chance to be coached by Misty Copeland and Davis Robertson. Ms. Chiroli completed her training in Milan at Centro Formazione Aida ballet school, receiving a Diploma in Classical and Contemporary dance. Ms. Chiroli joined the State Opera Plovdiv Ballet Company in Bulgaria in 2018 performing in ballets such as Cinderella, Giselle, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and La Bayadère. In 2019 Ms. Chiroli went on a tour to the Popular Republic of China with the Russian ballet company Astrakhan, in Konstantin Uralsky's Swan Lake. Ms. Chiroli left Europe in 2021 when she was offered a scholarship for the Orlando Ballet Trainee Program and took part in productions of the main ballet company. Ms. Chiroli joined Ballet Frontier in 2022 and has performed soloist and lead roles including Zulma in Giselle, the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and the Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty. This is Michela's second season with Ballet Frontier.
