Ashleigh Wells is originally from Arlington, Texas, where she began her dance training at 3 years old with Dance Workshop under direction of Susan Green. From there, she went to Innovative Dance Inc. under direction of Mike and Megan Young, and then to Oklahoma City Ballet School under direction of Racheal Nye. She has experience in ballet, contemporary, modern, tap, jazz, hip-hop, latin, jazz funk, musical theatre and aerial silks. Ashleigh has worked with many world renowned choreographers such as Joshua Peugh, Maria Konrad, Mimmo Miccolis, and Serkan Hasanusta. After graduating from the Oklahoma City Ballet School Day Program in 2023, Ashleigh was promoted to Trainee with the Oklahoma City Ballet in 2023. She has been training with the school and company ever since, just recently performing as a snowflake and flower in Ryan Nye’s “The Nutcracker” and as a swan Racheal and Ryan Nye’s “Swan Lake”. Ashleigh is now dancing professionally with Ballet Frontier of Texas as a company member and is very eager and excited to dance in the upcoming season!
