Michaela Hillman

Michaela began her early dance training with Georgia Academy of Dance in her hometown of Peachtree City, Georgia. At the age of fifteen, she became a student at Nashville Ballet and was in the Professional Training Division until 2018. Michaela was the first ever recipient of the Patricia C. Todd Scholarship, a full tuition scholarship for the 2017-2018 season with Nashville Ballet. She also attended American Ballet Theater’s summer intensive in New York City from 2014 to 2016, Boston Ballet in the summer of 2017, and Nashville Ballet’s summer intensive in 2018. In the fall of 2018, Michaela began dancing with Oklahoma Festival Ballet as a student at the University of Oklahoma. While dancing with the University, she has performed in William Christensen’s version of the Nutcracker in the snow and flower corps, Price Suddarth’s original work Signature, So Near Yet So Far by Mariana Olivera, a solo in Take 5 by the School of Dance Director, Michael Bearden, among several other performance opportunities. In May of 2022, Michaela received her BFA in Ballet Pedagogy with a minor in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma."
