Anna Dang was born and raised in Carrollton, Texas. She is 

a homeschooled junior, and she has been dancing since 

kindergarden. She started her early dance training at Ballet 

Academy of Texas under the direction of Lisa Slagle. In 2017, 

she joined Ballet Ensemble of Texas, a pre-professional 

ballet company. She danced with BET for 5 seasons.

Anna has placed in the top 24 at YAGP Houston in 2019. 

Anna has participated in summer intensives with American Ballet Theater California, Colorado Ballet, and Ballet Met with scholarship offers in the latter two companies. She received the Amanda Stone Dance Scholarship from the Dance Council of North Texas in 2019. She was also offered a scholarship to train with Sacramento Ballet for the summer.  Anna is excited to begin her Professional Ballet Internship with Ballet Frontier for the 2022-2023 season. She is extremely grateful for this opportunity.
