Ana Vega

Ana Vega was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and began her dance training at South Florida Ballet, training in jazz, tap, contemporary, ballet, and flamenco. She later attended the HARID Conservatory on a full tuition scholarship at fourteen years old, studying Vaganova training for four years. Ana participated in summer intensives such as Tulsa Ballet, Ellison Ballet, and Bolshoi Ballet. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Oklahoma and pursued a double major in ballet performance and human relations. During her time there, Ana performed works by esteemed choreographers such as William Christianson, Price Suddarth, Gerald Arpino, JiÅ™í Kylián, Penny Saunder, Jerome Robbins, and George Balanchine. She also had the opportunity to perform at the Festival Internacional de Danza Contemporánea de la Cdmx in Mexico City. In 2021 she accepted a second company position at Oklahoma City Ballet while pursuing her degrees. This will be her first season with Ballet Frontier.
